Inspiration- Mineral Stones
I used the textures on the stones as my inspiration and depicted those textures by the use of plaster of Paris, paints, fevicol and mesh.
Theme-2 (Optimism) – 3 Artworks (7-9)
Inspirations-
7. Kantha Embroidery- Kantha is a type of embroidery craft in the eastern regions of the Indian subcontinent. I took inspiration from this craft and gave detailing like the running stitches.
8. Macro Details of Flower Petals- I took inspiration from the contour like details in the petals and depicted the petals with contour lines. The print represents the scattered petal pattern.
9. Keith Haring Paintings- Keith Allen Haring was an American artist whose pop art and graffiti-like work grew out of the New York City street culture of the 1980s. I took inspiration from his style and doodled stylized floral shapes with thick black outlines.
