Description of contest work: I have been inspired by the nature surrounding me. The shapes, line, texture and composition when manipulated can form something beautiful and unexpected. Theme 1 (micronature) is an example of this. This is what I have been trying to capture in my work when working on micronature, the texture, lines, shape and composition of nature close ups, like flower petals, trees, leafs, etc. By doing this it also helped me to pick out some basic shapes of flowers for next theme optimism. But rather than copy them as they are, I have given them my own twist to it.
